GATE EXAM 2014 CS: QUALIFY CUTOFF ANALYSIS

Note that the Marks, the Score and the Percentile are different things in perspective of GATE EXAM.
  • GATE provides marks out of 100 to all the candidates.
  • GATE provides score out of 1000 to only qualified candidates based on formula. The colleges use score as base parameter to select the candidates.
  • GATE not provide percentile because it’s not have significance there.
The qualify cut off marks of GATE exam 2014 CS was following:
  • General : 25.00
  • OBC (Non creamy layer): 22.50
  • SC/ST/PwD: 16.67

GATE EXAM 2014 CS: PAPER ANALYSIS

The GATE 2014 exam for CS was held on March 1 and 2, 2014 in three sessions. Mode was online.

  • There was total of 65 questions for 100 marks.
  • The questions were mix of multiple choice (negative marking 33%) and numerical type (Around 40%, No negative marking)
